This is the total of all cities for the clans of the remaining descendants of Kohath: ten cities with their pastures.
All the cities of the families of the rest of the descendants of K’hat numbered ten with their surrounding open land.
The rest of the Kohath clans of the Levi tribe received ten towns and the pastureland around them. Four of these towns were from the tribe of Ephraim, four from Dan, and two from West Manasseh. Shechem, Gezer, Kibzaim, and Beth-Horon were from Ephraim. Shechem was located in the hill country, and it was also one of the Safe Towns for people who had accidentally killed someone. Elteke, Gibbethon, Aijalon, and Gath-Rimmon were from Dan. Taanach and Jibleam were from West Manasseh.
All the cities were ten and their suburbs, for the families of the children of Kohath that remained.
All the cities were ten, with their suburbs, which were given to the children of Caath, of the inferior degree.
In all, the rest of the people from the Kohath family groups got ten towns and some land around each town for their animals.
So these Kohathite clans received ten towns with their fields.
The total was ten cities and their pasturelands for the remaining clans of the descendants of Kohath.

All the cities for the other families of the children of Kohath were ten with their suburbs.

So this was 10 more towns and all the pastures around the towns. These were given to the rest of the Kohathite family groups.

In total, there were ten cities with their pastures that were given to the rest of the Kohathites.
So these ten towns and the pastures around them were given to the rest of the Kohathite family groups.
